AUKUS to engage with IAEA on nuclear subs

The UN atomic watchdog has been told of plans for Australia to acquire nuclear-powered submarines.

Australia, the UK and the US have informed the UN atomic watchdog of their new security partnership that will help Australia acquire nuclear-powered submarines, and both sides plan to "engage" over coming months, the watchdog says.
