Creighton made his Super Rugby debut for the Queensland Reds during this year's Trans-Tasman competition, having previously captained Brisbane City to an under 19 national title in 2019.
The Brothers club rugby star joins the Brumbies in the midst of a pre-season training block designed to give assistant coaches Rod Seib and Laurie Fisher crucial time with the club's emerging prospects.
"He has all the right attributes that will help him fit in at the club. He's strong, aggressive in contact with an excellent left boot, and from all reports, he's a hard working young bloke who's ready to come down and chase that Super Rugby dream," Brumbies coach Dan McKellar said.
"This pre-season block with Seiby and Lord will be great for his development and he'll be a quality addition for us at least these next couple of years.

"They've just started a three-week training block focusing on individualisation of players with programs focusing on individual skill development. That's going well.
"It gives coaches time with our young developing players in particular, and getting them ready for pre-season which will start around the middle of November."
McKellar is in Queensland with the Wallabies as they head into their final Rugby Championship clash against Argentina on the Gold Coast on Saturday night.
The Brumbies mentor will return to Canberra for a week before joining the Wallabies on the way to Japan for a Test in Oita, before they kick off their Spring Tour in the UK.
"I'm really excited to be coming down to Canberra to join the Brumbies," Creighton said.
"The club and the program have such a strong reputation for getting the best out of players and I'm really keen to get stuck into preseason and put my best foot forward.
"From everything I have heard, the club is very welcoming and has that family feel so my job is to just make a good impression, work hard for my teammates in pre-season and put my hand up for selection this season."
