NEW CASES: 1355 (down from 1656 yesterday)
DEATHS: 11 (up from 10 yesterday)
ACTIVE CASES: 21,095 (down from 23,730 yesterday)
IN HOSPITAL: 747 (up from 738 yesterday)
IN ICU: 135 (up from 130 yesterday)
ON VENTILATOR: 83 (down from 85 yesterday)
The number of new COVID-19 has fallen since yesterday, on the first day of movement between regional and metropolitan Victoria.
There were 1355 new COVID cases confirmed in the 24 hours to midnight on Thursday.
Eleven deaths were also recorded.
The number of people in hospital and intensive care has risen slightly, while the number of people on a ventilator has dropped slightly.
More information on the cases will be revealed later today.
Melburnians are expected to flock to the regions this weekend after restrictions were eased at 6pm on Friday.
Masks no longer need to be worn outdoors, indoor entertainment venues, gyms and retail can reopen for fully vaccinated patrons, and capacity limits increase for restaurants, pubs and cafes.
The next step of out of restrictions will happen with 90 per cent of Victorians aged 12 and above have had both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
