ACT Health has been notified of two deaths, a man in his 50s and a man in his 90s with COVID-19. ACT Health extended sincere condolences to their families and friends.
There has been a total of 18 COVID-related deaths in the ACT since the start of the pandemic.
The new cases bring the active total of COVID cases in the ACT to 3257.
There are 41 people in hospital because of COVID, an increase of 11 from the previous reporting period. A total of three people are in intensive care with two requiring ventilation.
The latest ACT Health COVID vaccination figures show the percentage of Canberrans aged 18 and over who have received booster third shots is at 28.1 per cent.
Those double-dosed in the ACT are at 98.6 per cent for those people aged 12 and older.
Canberran children aged 5 to 11 have been recorded at 15.3 per cent with their first dose since becoming eligible last Monday.

Another 20 deaths related to COVID-19 have been recorded in NSW in the latest reporting period while there has been 34,660 new cases.
Of the new cases, 13,682 were rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 20,978 were PCR tests.
There are 2650 people in NSW hospitals with the virus, with 191 in ICU.
COVID vaccination figures show 93.8 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had two doses, while 25.4 per cent of people have had a booster third shot.
In NSW, 11.5 per cent of children aged 5 to 11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Victoria has recorded a further 13 deaths related to COVID while there are 28,128 new infections in the latest reporting period.
The new cases were 10,337 RAT tests and 17,791 PCR tests.
There are now 1,114 people in Victorian hospitals, up from 1,054 reported a day earlier. There are 122 people in ICU, 35 are being ventilated.
There are now at least 237,559 active cases in the state.
Tasmania has posted 825 new COVID-19 cases, as the state's active infection numbers drop for a fourth consecutive day.
Twenty-two people with coronavirus are in hospital, with eight of those being treated for virus symptoms. One person is in intensive care.
The other 14 people in hospital have COVID-19 but are being treated for unrelated medical conditions.
The new infections have come from 580 self-reported rapid antigen tests and 245 PCR tests.
Queensland has recorded a further three deaths and 17,445 new cases from 42,420 PCR tests.
A total of 670 people are in hospital, with 49 in ICU. There are 203,657 active cases in the state.
