* Evacuation orders and warnings are in place for dozens of locations as the flood crisis continues to wreak havoc across the entire coast.
* The death toll has risen to nine after police found a body while searching for a missing delivery driver whose truck was found at Greendale on Tuesday night.
* Police have found the body of a delivery driver whose truck was found submerged in Sydney floodwaters.
* Sydney has had its wettest-ever start to a year with average falls close to what is usually reported over a 12 month period.
* More than 872mm of rain has fallen since the start of 2022.
* The previous rainfall record was 815.8mm in 1956.
* The State Emergency Service received 2000 calls for help and completed 71 rescues in the 24 hours to 10am.
* Major flooding is occurring on multiple rivers around the state with the Hawkesbury experiencing peaks greater than floods during March 2021.
MAJOR FLOODING, EVACUATION ORDERS AND WARNINGS BY REGION
GREATER SYDNEY
* Evacuation orders are in place in parts of: McGraths Hill, Mulgrave, South Maroota, Lower Portland, Ebenezer, Wallacia, Bligh Park, Agnes Banks, Sackville, Cattai, Leets Vale, Freemans Reach, Pitt Town, Pitt Town Bottoms, Sackville North, Oakville, Gronos Point, South Windsor, Richmond Lowlands, Angus, Windsor, Vineyard, Londonderry, Riverstone, Shanes Park, North Richmond, Yarramundi, Cumberland Reach, Mulgoa.
* Evacuation warnings are in place in parts of: Windsor, Manly Vale, North Manly, Mulgoa, Wallacia, Wisemans Ferry, Wetherill Park, Emu Plains, Penrith, Jamisontown, Lower Portland, Regentville, Cranebrook
* Residents have been given the all clear to return to Redbank Dam, Woronora, and Narrabeen. Residents can return with caution in Camden, excluding the Poplar Tourist Park Elderslie, and a number of suburbs on the Georges River including East Hills, Georges Hall, Lansvale, Milperra, Moorebank, Warwick Farm, Picnic Point, Sandy Point, Holsworthy, Chipping Norton and Pleasure Point.
* Major flooding is occurring on the Hawkesbury River at North Richmond, Windsor, Sackville, Lower Portland and Wisemans Ferry. The river peaked at a height of 14.13 metres at North Richmond overnight.
NORTHERN RIVERS
* Evacuation orders and warnings are no longer in place in the Northern Rivers.
* Residents have been given the all clear to return to Cabbage Tree Island, Woodburn, Swan Bay, Broadwater, Coraki, South Murwillumbah, Murwillumbah, Condong, Tumbulgum, East Lismore, Lismore, Girards Hill, Ballina, Wardell, Kyogle, Lennox Heads, Tweed Heads, Ocean Shores, New Brighton, South Golden Beach, Billinudgel, Uki, Rocky Creek Dam, Mullumbimby, Casino, East Bellingen, Iluka, Maclean, Lawrence, Brushgrove, Cowper, Southgate and Ulmarra
MID-NORTH COAST
* Evacuation orders and warnings are no longer in place on the Mid-North Coast
* Residents have been given the all clear to return to North Macksville, Gloucester, Croki, Kempsey
THE HUNTER
* Evacuation orders in are place for Tuggerah Lakes and surrounding areas, Combo, Glenridding, Dunolly, Whittingham and Scotts Flat.
* Residents have been given the all clear to return to Scone.
* Major flooding is occurring on the Hunter River at Singleton, reaching 13.07 metres at 12.30pm on Wednesday.
* Major flooding is occurring on the Wollombi Brook at Bulga, expected to peak at 7.5 metres about 7pm on Wednesday.
ILLAWARRA AND SOUTH COAST
* Evacuation orders are in place in parts of Sussex Inlet, St Georges Basin.
SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS
* Residents have been given the all clear to return to Picton.
