Police have launched a homicide investigation after a critically injured woman was found with multiple stab wounds near a burning home north of Brisbane. Initial investigations by police indicate a man allegedly stabbed the 31-year-old woman multiple times at a house in Kallangur about 7pm on Saturday. The woman left the scene where she collapsed a short distance away where police found her. She died shortly after at the scene. The man was found in a nearby street and taken to hospital with critical injuries. Emergency crews arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. Detective Inspector David Harbison said no one was in the house at the time of the blaze and they were not searching for anyone else in their investigation. 1800 RESPECT (1800 737 732) Lifeline 13 11 14 Australian Associated Press
