Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage has been spotted picking up some groceries in a West Australian beach town. The American star was recognised at an Asian grocery store in the Margaret River Region town of Busselton. Donning a pair of red-tinted sunglasses, the bearded Cage posed for some fan snaps shared by the Food of Asia store on social media. The Oscar-winner is down under for production of psychological thriller The Surfer. The film follows the return of a man to his Australian hometown where he becomes entangled in a turf war with local surfers. Media reports in August revealed a casting call out had been sent to local high school students to play young surfers in the film. IN OTHER NEWS: It comes as a new movie starring Rebel Wilson shut down the NSW Central West town of Carcoar for filming on October 16. The Deb is an adaptation of an original musical of the same name based on a country town's debutante ball.
