Southbound lanes on the Monaro Highway were closed temporarily shortly before 2pm after the 14-tonne courier stuck became stuck on the median strip outside Can Turf.

Two tow trucks were called to the rescue and police were on hand to direct traffic, ACT Policing said.
The road was clear by 2.40pm.
