Now on at PhotoAccess is an exhibition presenting the works of 10 emerging photographers - Michelle Crosbie, Jacqui Doyle, Tessa Ivison, Adam Luckhurst, Andrew Mooney, Amanda Summons, Philippa Tetlow, Annie Wilcox, Mark Will and Grant Winkler. They're all participants of PhotoAccess’s Personal Photography Project, an 11-month workshop providing photographers with a framework in which to make their own sustained body of work. They have produced a variety of work, covering a range of styles and themes. The exhibition continues until Sunday, September 30. On Sunday, September 23 you can join Summons in the gallery between noon and 4pm to have your photograph taken in celebration of her series, 52 Ladies.

Two in one

Two galleries in Gorman Arts Centre in collaboration are each holding an exhibition of works by Janenne Eaton, making it easy to see both. In Nancy Sever Gallery is Shadowlands in which the artist's studies and fieldwork in archeology provide a conceptual foundation for her imagery, which focuses a lens on the ephemeral, virtual static that permeates the digital ecology of contemporary life and in Canberra Contemporary Art Space is Fences B/Orders Walls - Keep Clear. They continue until October 21.

Also at at CCAS Gorman House are Jess Higgins' Black Elephant and Kate Stevens' Drones Over Aleppo, both on until November 17. You'll have to be quick to see the exhibition now on at CCAS Manuka: John Hart's At Home with Ohm runs until September 30.

Art show and markets

The Queanbeyan Art Society's art show and markets, with many works by Queanbeyan artists on show and for sale, begin in Canberra's City Walk on Saturday from 8.30am to 4pm and continue until September 30.

Craft ACT Talks

The next artist floor talk for Place Makers: 2018 Craft ACT Members Exhibition will be by textile artists on Saturday, September 22 at 12.30pm. Craft ACT is on Level 1m North Building 180 London Circuit, Canberra. craftact.org.au.
