A light plane with two people on board was forced to make an emergency landing in the Brindabella Ranges on Monday, April 30.

An Australian Transport Safety Bureau spokesperson said the plane, a single-engine GA-8 Airvan, landed in a clearing about 40 kilometres west of Canberra.
It is not believed that anyone was injured.
The spokesperson said the bureau was not investigating the incident, but it would publish a brief with further details on its website in the coming days.
