An Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said paramedics were called to the scene, on the Monaro Highway near Mugga Lane, at 6.07pm.
The 35-year-old woman was in a stable condition, the spokesperson said.
The ABC is reporting that the woman was trying to remove a kangaroo she had just hit from the road, but the Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said he was not aware of the circumstances around the crash.
