The club will be open to the public from 3am, screening the game live from 4am and serving breakfast from 5am.

"We're all really excited for the match and we're feeling very hopeful," the club's general manager,  Mark Herrick, said.

"We're anticipating about 100-200 members of Canberra's Croatian community to show up."

To get among the finals fever in the semi-final game between Croatia and England, Canberrans can also head to new sports bar Bleachers, located on Northbourne Avenue in the city.

Bleachers will serve brekkie rolls from 3.30am.

"We've had an incredible atmosphere for all of the World Cup games so far," Jessica Arena, of Bleachers, said.

The new venue is also set to celebrate the grand final overnight on Sunday and in the early hours of Monday morning, July 16, with the big match showing "live and loud" on all 24 screens.

Burgers, wings, egg and bacon rolls, beer, wine and coffee will be in steady supply for early morning revellers.

As for the southsiders, the Dock will be heralding the grand final with a late night pizza and snack menu from 1am to 3am.

Canberra's French community is also set to gather at Alliance Française de Canberra for the grand final. The screening is open to the public, and supporters of other teams are welcome.

French and Belgian supporters met in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at the Alliance Française de Canberra to witness France's trail to victory.

The joint event between the Embassy of France and the Embassy of Belgium saw the two countries become friendly rivals for an exhilarating 90 minutes.

"The Belgian supporters never stopped cheering on their team. The French supporters were trembling, waiting for the final whistle or the opportunity to widen the gap," said one reveller at the event.

"The sound of the final whistle of the second half was a cruel one for all the Belgian fans, but a kind of emotional release for the French squad in Canberra."
