From the return of the famous boxing tent to a line-up of 100 Hereford heifers, the Royal Canberra Show is promising to put on an extra-special weekend for Canberra's Centenary year.
The show runs from Friday, February 22 to Sunday, February 24 at Exhibition Park in Canberra. You can download the official 2013 show guide here (10mb PDF), or pick one up in The Canberra Times showbag ($3).
But here's some basic information to get you started:
General admission (including Showbag Pavilion and Sideshow Alley): Friday and Saturday 8.30am to 10pm; Sunday 8.30am to 6pm.
Some pavilions and animal pavilions close earlier.
Children 6-16 years: $10
Children under 6: Free
Students and pensioners: $15
Friday special: $15 all day for seniors, $15 general admission before noon

Special show buses will operate on Saturday and Sunday from Tuggeranong, Woden, Belconnon and the City. Normal fares apply, unless a pre-purchased family ticket is presented. See ACTION's website for details.
Public car parking is available for $10 per vehicle via Wells Station Road and Randwick Road. Disabled parking is available for free.
Services and facilities
Free sunscreen will be available at the Show's information booths.
Free water bottle refilling stations will be spread around the park.
Three ATMs will be available: outside the Leisure and Lifestyle Pavilion, inside the Harvest Hall, and outside Recreation Court.
This year's show includes a mix of old favourites and new curiosities, including alpaca burgers, showbags (and the famous Bertie Beetle bag), dog diving and cat shows.
Fireworks: Friday and Saturday, 9.20pm
Smash up Demolition Derby: Main Arena, Sunday, 6pm
Fashion Through the Ages: Leisure and Lifestyle Pavilion, all days, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm
Tent boxing shows: Friday 12.30pm, 2.30pm; Saturday 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm; Sunday 11.30am, 1.30pm, 4pm
