She reckons her revolutionary show Nanette "did alright". Oh. yeah.
Hannah Gadsby is both laconic and loquacious - and that's why we love her.
The sensational Aussie comedian is on her way to Canberra, for one show only, in December.
Pre-sale for the show at the Canberra Theatre Centre on Saturday, December 14, started on Wednesday. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday.
Hannah Gadsby’s 10th solo show was Nanette, which played around Australia and the United Kingdom before becoming a Netflix special and igniting a global conversation, while propelling her to Hollywood, even to the stage of last year's Emmys.
Now comes her new show Douglas, named after "a very specific dog, and the only thing they have in common is they’ve inspired Hannah to put pen to paper and turn out a show you couldn’t possibly expect".
"Hannah found her voice with Nanette and with Douglas she plans to use it," so the publicity goes.
Tickets via The Canberra Theatre.
