A man accused of shooting another man in the mouth outside a Sunshine Coast home has been charged with attempted murder.

Police said the 40-year-old victim was shot through a windscreen of a vehicle on February 2 at a Curramore residence.
Police arrested a 36-year-old Curramore man in Woodford, south of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, over the shooting and allegedly found methylamphetamine.
Several searches of residences at Woodford also uncovered a clandestine lab and a caravan allegedly stolen from Deception Bay in January, police said.
The 36-year-old was charged with 21 offences, including attempted murder, dangerous conduct with weapons, unlawful possession of weapons, possession of tainted property, possessions of things for drugs offences and dangerous drugs.
He was set to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday.
