ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Ambulance Service were called to the crash on Randwick St near the Barton Highway just after 5.30pm.
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to free the woman, who was then assessed by intensive care paramedics at the scene.
She sustained multiple injuries and was later taken to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
