Sausage sizzles, movie nights, car boot sales and pizza fundraisers have all contributed to some local dancers embarking on the trip of a lifetime to perform in Paris and London.

The J Squad performers, from Bom Funk Dance Studio in Jerrabomberra, comprise 14 dancers and one singer, aged from six to 21.
They will perform at various locations during their 14-day visit later this month, including Paris Disneyland, the Champs de Mars Bandstand under the Eiffel Tower and the Victoria Embankment Gardens in London.
The dancers will also attend workshops in Paris and take in the iconic Moulin Rouge, Lido and Crazy Horse shows. They will also work with the casts from Wicked and Les Misérables on London's West End.
Bom Funk Dance Studio director Kym Degenhart said the dancers had been preparing for almost two years for the trip.
To get a sneak peek of their European performances, J Squad will be putting on a fundraising preview show this Saturday.
The show is at Canberra College Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 6th April. Doors open at 5.45pm for a 6pm performance.
