Canberra Centre is already frequented by activewear enthusiasts the city over thanks to stores Lorna Jane, Lululemon and Rebel. But more lycra is on the way with the arrival of a Nike store in mid-April.
At 380 square metres, the store will be one of the brand's largest Australian stores. While Canberra Outlet Centre is home to a Nike outlet store, this will be Canberra's first Nike concept store.
The athleisure doesn't stop there.
Canberra Centre is also gearing up for the arrival of The North Face, where you can stock up for your next multi-day trek or layer up for the brisk Canberra winter mornings which await us.
The mountainwear brand, originating in San Francisco, will open its first Canberra store in mid-April.
Canberra Centre retail manager Gary Stewart said the arrival of the two international brands and the strengthening of the centre's athleisure scene was an "exciting" step for them.
“By welcoming both Nike and North Face, we will be able to further position Canberra Centre as the ACT’s leading destination for dynamic retail experiences,” Mr Stewart said.
On opening day, The North Face will offer customers a free gift with purchase.
The store will also feature an in-centre and street-facing shopfront, so you can have a geez from all angles.
