The truck, believed to have a white cab, was travelling south along Waterford-Tamborine Road when it turned right into Anzac Avenue about 8pm.
As the truck turned, a motorcycle travelling north collided with the left rear section of the truck, police said.
The rider, a 22-year-old Cedar Grove man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the truck did not stop and continued travelling west along Anzac Avenue towards Chambers Flat.
On Thursday, police released CCTV footage and images of the truck in a bid to find the driver, Springwood Forensic Crash Unit investigator Senior Constable Neil Campbell said.
“The left rear tail light assembly located at the scene appears to belong to the truck and has been broken from its mounting as a result of the crash,” Senior Constable Campbell said.
“We are renewing our appeal for information for anyone that may have been in the or around the Logan Village area on Friday, June 15 between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, particularly near Albert Street and Anzac Avenue as inquiries into the incident continue.
“Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant dashcam footage and hasn’t already done so, to contact them.”
Forensic Crash Unit officers were investigating.
