Police have charged a 23-year-old learner driver who allegedly crashed into the front steps and mailbox of a house in Canberra while drunk and unsupervised.

ACT Policing said the woman crashed at a house in Casey about 1.20am on Sunday.
The driver was taken to Gungahlin Police Station, where she allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.147.
The legal limit is 0.00 for learners and P-platers, and 0.05 for full licence holders.
Police said the woman would be summonsed to face the ACT Magistrates Court on charges of drink-driving and driving unaccompanied as a learner driver.
