Malachy Todling proudly tells everyone he has two dads who love him very much.
In May, the five-year-old became the first foster child in the ACT to be legally adopted by same-sex parents.
The event was a milestone for Canberra's out of home care system and the capital's foster care community.

Foy has been told to pay the ACT government for the block of land it bought in Hume for its rejected plastics-to-fuel plant.
The company, which will soon be renamed Integrated Green Energy Solutions, missed its deadline for settlement for the Tuggeranong site in June, after it purchased the block from the Land Development Agency last year.
At the time it owed more than $3 million.
In an announcement to the Australian Stock Exchange on Thursday, the company revealed its bid to defer settlement until it could raise the capital had been knocked back.

Canberra same-sex marriage advocates are bracing for "two months of horror" in the wake of the High Court's decision to allow a postal vote on the issue.
On Thursday afternoon the High Court ruled the voluntary, non-binding vote could go ahead, following legal challenges by marriage equality supporters.
Marriage equality campaigner Veronica Wensing said she was disappointed the challenge failed, and was concerned about the level of public vitriol the postal survey would generate.
Chief Minister Andrew Barr criticised the looming postal vote as "cruel" and "a new low in Australian politics".

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is overhauling the top ranks of the federal public service, naming Immigration boss Michael Pezzullo as head of the new Home Affairs Department.
Mr Turnbull said Mr Pezzullo would lead the transition of the Immigration and Border Protection into the new Home Affairs Department as it is established in 2018.
The expected move will see the controversial secretary leading the new portfolio under incoming minister Peter Dutton.
