A Singaporean celebrity actor is due to touch down in Canberra on Friday - with 91 of his fans - for a tour of Canberra that will be filmed for a travel television series.

Actor Desmond Tan will be filming an episode for the My Star television series while in Canberra this Friday and Saturday.
The series combines Singaporeans' favourite pursuits – food and travel.
On the weekend's itinerary are visits to The Truffle Farm, Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, Mount Ainslie lookout, the Royal Australian Mint, Capital Region Farmers Market, Cockington Green Gardens, the National Zoo & Aquarium, Lake Burley Griffin and Patissez.
Following Canberra the group – organised by the Chan Brothers Singapore tour company– heads to the Snowy Mountains for an Aussie snow experience before heading to Wollongong and Sydney to round off their Australia visit.
