Canberrans woke to another frosty weekend morning, with the overnight low dropping to a crisp minus 7 degrees on Sunday.

It was still more than two degrees below zero at 8.30am, with a persistent frost and some fog in parts of the territory.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a top of 11 degrees. It says to expect a partly cloudy day, but says it is not going to rain. There should be some light winds, becoming northwesterly and about 15-20k/h in the afternoon.
It hit a low of minus 7 at 6.25am, when the apparent temperature was below minus 10 degrees.
The bureau is predicting a few more chilly mornings this week.
Monday is expected to drop to a low of minus 3, with another frost before warming up to a top of 14 degrees.
There is a 30 per cent chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, although it is only expected to be less than 1mm if it does eventuate. Tuesday is likely to be the warmer of the two days, albeit just - with a low of 1 and a top of 12, compared with a low of zero and a top of 11 on Wednesday.
The overnight lows are expected to drop back into freezing levels for the rest of the week. Thursday and Saturday are tipped to drop to minus 2, while Friday is expected to be a chilly minus 5.
That was a bit warmer than the month's low, when it dropped to minus 8.7 on Saturday July 1. The next two days were colder than Sunday morning, as well - at minus 8.1 degrees and minus 7.1.
The ACT is on track to have a chance at recording its coolest July on record, according to Weatherzone figures. The coldest July on record is 1971, when the average minimum temperature was minus 3.2. As of Sunday, the average low was minus 3.3. The long term average is minus 0.1.
