Emergency services and firefighters were kept busy on Monday night as the thunderstorm that made its way through New South Wales hit Canberra, with 25 call-outs around the capital.

Most SES calls were for relatively minor power outages and other issues due to the heavy rain which hit the ACT about 6.30pm, including arcing power lines, leaking roofs, minor flooding and trees brought down.
The incidents were spread from the northern-most suburbs to the most southern in the city.
But Weatherzone senior meteorologist Brett Dutschke said on Tuesday that southern ACT caught the most rain, with Tuggeranong seeing 18 millimetres through the storm.
"Brindabellas looked like it got 5 to 10mm and Canberra Airport it was 6mm," Mr Dutschke said.
Parkers Gaps, just south-west of Braidwood off Captains Flat Road saw 62mm of rain, the most it had seen since winter last year.
Mr Dutschke said Canberra could expect slightly similar weather today with smaller rainfalls and a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
"Even into the evening there's still a significant chance," Mr Dutschke said.
"At the moment the storm warning is for further west but the ACT may be included for later today. Into tomorrow the storm risk is much less.
"The showers remain a chance into Thursday and early Friday."
The Bureau of Meteorology had issued a severe thunderstorm warning on Monday afternoon for regions including the south coast, Snowy Mountains, central and southern tablelands, ACT, Batemans Bay, Goulburn, Cooma and Yass.
By Tuesday morning, the thunderstorm warning was current only for Orange, Dubbo, Parkes, Wagga Wagga, Albury and Griffith.
State emergency services advised people against driving or riding through creeks and flood water, to stay indoors if possible during the storm and keep children and pets indoors.
