It'll certainly be no bed of roses on Tuesday for Canberra's florists, as they prepare for their busiest days of the year.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, florists across the territory have been going into overdrive to ensure they're able to meet the influx of orders.
Owner of Manuka Flowers Sue Burden said with Valentine's Day falling on a weekday this year, demand for bouquets of roses has been even higher than in previous years.
"For the last two years, Valentine's Day has fallen on a weekend so we've missed the business and school trade," she said.
"So this year we're going to be blown out of the water."
While the lead up to Tuesday is being described as "the calm before the storm", preparations at Mrs Burden's store have been under way for several days.
Extra staff has been on hand since Friday to meet the hundreds of orders that have already been placed, as well as prepare for those purchasing flowers on the day.
"Once all the flowers come in, every single rose stem has to be stripped of leaves and thorns and then re-cut and conditioned before they're split into dozens and half-dozens," Mrs Burden said.
"It will be all hands on deck."
Over the next few days, the Manuka shop owner said her store will become inundated with "thousands and thousands" of flowers.
It's a similar situation over at The Floral Society in nearby Kingston, where owner Renee Douros is putting the final touches on the many hundreds of bouquets that have already been ordered.
She said that demand for flowers for Valentine's Day this year is set to be even bigger this year.
"Last year we were very busy and did more than 100 personalised deliveries, but this year we're expecting to do double that," Ms Douros said.
"It's kind of the most dreaded days for florists to be honest."
While the florist said Mother's Day was the busiest time of year for the industry, Valentine's Day represents the single biggest day for flower sellers.
She said those coming into the store over the next few days will be hard pressed to find anything else other than roses.
"We have thousands of them, we're chock-a-block at the moment," Ms Douros said.
Long-stemmed red roses may be the traditional pick when it comes to floral displays of affection on Tuesday, but Ms Douros said other alternatives are proving to be popular.
"We have our own spin on things like mixed-coloured roses as well as pastel bunches which are also popular," she said.
