Canberrans filling up their cars on Friday ahead of journeying to the coast for some heat relief could be paying 15 cents more per litre than the last time they filled up.

Average prices jumped from an average of 128.9 cents per litre in the first week of the year to 143.9 cents on Friday.
Friday's figures - which were on par with Thursday's - were between three and four cents higher than neighbouring Yass and Goulburn and two cents higher than Sydney, though they were just slightly trailing Batemans Bay.
The Australian Institute of Petroleum data showed average petrol prices in Canberra stayed between 128 and 129 cents from December 11 until the jump in the New Year.
So where will the price hike hurt the least?
Caltex/Woolworths Majura and Costo Majura tie with Metro Fyshwick for the cheapest average prices, at 125.9 cents.
Unleaded prices start at 121 cents at Costco - though only available to members - 123 cents at Metro and 125 cents at Woolworths/Caltex.
They are 128 cents or more at Caltex Hume and at least 133 cents at BP Fyshwick.
Unless you travel out to Queanbeyan, which has several petrol stations with similar prices, the not-so-horrible prices stop there - it seems every other petrol station in the ACT has unleaded prices starting at 140 cents per litre.
