The ACT Rural Fire Service has given a Kambah Pool Road land owner a permit to burn debris to reduce the bushfire hazard on their property.

The service said the burn was expected to finish noon Thursday with smoke visible until then. The land owner has fire fighting equipment on standby.
The ACT Rural Fire Service reminded residents a permit was always needed to burn-off during bushfire season.
