A beloved member of the United Hockey Club, MacKinnon lost her battle with breast cancer in January 2013, which led to the first Memorial Weekend later that year.
Nearly $45,000 has been raised in just three years and United president Nicole Wicks said the way the hockey community has come together has been "amazing".
"I think the support that has come forward throughout the whole of the association has been a great comfort for the MacKinnon family," Wicks said.
MacKinnon's former club will lead a host of teams wearing pink uniforms for the occasion, with the Roosters all decked out in pink for their clash with Central.
"We've actually got new pink shirts for our Capital League 1 men and women's teams this year. Our keepers will have hot pink numbers on. It's going to be a very special game. [Central are] our nemesis, but they've had people deal with breast cancer as well.
"It'll be a wonderful weekend."
The pink uniforms will be accompanied by fundraising events, raffles and speeches from Breast Cancer survivors.
