Shoeprint analysis was used to match bloody prints left at the scene of a Phillip murder to a left Puma shoe found in an accused's car, a court has heard.

Danny Klobucar, 27, is on trial for the murder of Canberra grandfather Miodrag Gajic, 71, on New Year's Day in 2014.
Mr Gajic was beaten to death near the front door of his Mansfield Place unit, before being dragged back into the hallway and left in a pool of blood.
Klobucar had met Mr Gajic two days earlier, when he and his uncle tried to buy cannabis from him.
The accused, whose mental health was deteriorating at the time, was said to be increasingly obsessed with a delusion that he was working as an undercover police officer to bust underground paedophile networks.
He noticed Mr Gajic's Nissan Micra, remarking to his uncle that it was a "gay car", and that the older man must be a paedophile who had a DVD of him from his childhood.
Klobucar returned to the unit on New Year's Day morning, and the Crown says he beat Mr Gajic to death, using a weapon to inflict severe injuries to his head.
On Wednesday, the court heard from forensic shoe expert Leigh Coutts, who spoke of her analysis of bloody prints found at the scene.
On the night of the murder, a left-foot, Puma-brand sports shoe was seized from Klobucar's white Nissan Navara ute after a disturbance he made at the Lighthouse pub in Belconnen.
Ms Coutts told the court the bloody prints at the scene were from a right shoe.
Police then made a mirror image of the pattern of the left shoe, after confirming with the manufacturer that both shoe soles were similar, to get the equivalent right-shoe pattern.
They then took close-up photos of bloody shoeprints left at Mr Gajic's home from directly above, in some cases using the chemical Luminol, which reacts with blood to give a glowing effect.
The pattern of the right shoe was then laid on the bloody print.
Ms Coutts was taken through several bloody prints found on Mr Gajic's floor and confirmed they were consistent with the pattern of the right Puma shoe.
Klobucar has not denied that he was at the scene.
But he does deny causing Mr Gajic's death. In his version, written in a letter to his psychiatrist, Mr Gajic was already dead when he got there.
He said he panicked, and grabbed Mr Gajic's phone to call the police, but later decided against it because he feared becoming a suspect.
He is also relying on a defence of mental impairment, and three psychiatrists, including one engaged by the Crown, have said he suffered a mental impairment and his delusions meant he did not properly understand the wrongfulness of his actions.
Earlier on Wednesday, the police informant in the case, Detective Senior Constable Jarryd Dunbar, gave evidence about the movements of Klobucar on the day before and the day of the killing.
Police used CCTV, point-to-point cameras, a bus CCTV camera, and mobile phone calls to help track Klobucar's movements.
The trial continues on Thursday before Justice Hilary Penfold.
