He’s really never going to give up.
Rick Astley is set to "Rickroll" back into Canberra for a show at Canberra Theatre on November 26 as part of his Together Forever Australian 2014 tour.
And while he's only been here recently, having delighted audiences at Canberra Theatre less than two years ago, it's unlikely Astley will let you down.
The global pop star who has sold more than 40 million records has spent the time since his last visit touring Europe and South America, as well as working on new material.
Astley is most well-known for his single Never Gonna Give You Up, as well as other cheesy cult hits Whenever You Need Somebody, When I Fall In Love and Together Forever.
He retired from music in 1993, before bursting back onto the music scene in 2008, delighting many fans who missed his dreamy good looks and unmistakable voice.
Recent shows have proved age isn't slowing the 48-year-old down, and concert-goers can expect the chart-topper to perform all the classics, plus some newer tunes.
Astley won’t force you to run around for tickets for the Canberra show with three separate opportunities to secure them – there are two separate presales on June 4 and June 10, with the general tickets on sale on June 16.
With the current rate that he’s touring, one thing’s for sure, Astley won’t desert you.
Rick Astley will play at Canberra Theatre Centre on November 26. General tickets are on sale on June 16 from canberraticketing.com.au.
