A woman armed with a syringe and man carrying a knife robbed a supermarket at Ngunnawal shops last night.

The pair entered the Spar Express Supermaket, on Jabanungga Avenue, at about 8.30pm, and demanded money from the shop attendant.
They fled the scene on foot after the shop attendant complied and gave them money from the supermarket's cash registers. No one was injured during the robbery.

Both robbers were described as having an Australian accent.
The Caucasian man was between 23 and 29, about 6ft tall, and wearing a dark coloured top, hat and trousers.
The woman was about 20 to 27 years-old, had olive skin, and was about 6ft tall. She was wearing a dark long sleeve jumper and pants.
