If a prosecution request for a custodial sentence is successful, Lieutenant Commander John Alan Jones is likely to be taken to the cells at Duntroon before being transferred to the Alexander Machonochie Centre, the ACT prison.
Jones was found guilty yesterday of seven acts of indecency against the sailor.
He was acquitted on two other indecency charges and had earlier pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to destroy a defence laptop.
The court martial is being held in Fyshwick.
It is in its third week.
The panel retired to consider their sentence shortly after 10.15am.
