A person driving a ute left the driver of another car trapped in an upside down vehicle after a crash on the Cotter Road on Saturday, police say.

Police are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage in relation to the crash in Curtin near the Equestrian Park about 5.20pm on Saturday.
"A white Toyota utility and a white Honda CRV collided, causing the CRV to leave the road and flip, leaving the driver of the CRV trapped inside. The driver of the Toyota did not stop to assist and left the scene," police said in a statement.
Firefighters extracted the driver of CRV and police are now looking for anyone who saw the crash or events that led up to it.
