After you've grabbed your pie and sourdough bread from the local bakeries, head across the main drag, Wallace Street, to the National Theatre for the Braidwood Book Fair.
There will be thousands of books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, records and children's books for sale.
It's on Friday to Sunday 9am to 4pm and on Monday from 9am to 2pm.
Find a book that makes a perfect accompaniment to an open fire on a winter coastal break.
The book fair is a true community event, organised by the Anglican parish of Braidwood.
