A 20-year-old woman was attacked at dusk by two men in Canberra's inner north on Sunday, police have said.

The woman was walking about 6pm along Tate Street towards the O'Connor shops, which connects Macpherson Street and Miller Street, when the men dragged the woman into a nearby street.
The first man physically assaulted the woman, while the second man ran from the scene.
The the first man ran towards Tate Street and continued on to either Westgarth or Robinson Street, police said in a statement.
Police said the first man was Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, over 183 centimetres tall, with a slim build, clean shaved and blond. His shoulder length hair stuck out of his beanie, police said.
The second man was also Caucasian in appearance, in his 20s but shorter than the first man with a heavier build. He wore a dark beanie, dark clothing and possibly a ski jacket.
