The 39-year-old man was reportedly stabbed three times in the neck about 4pm on Sunday at a home on Caoura Crescent in Goulburn, and was taken to Goulburn Hospital with significant bleeding, police say.
The man was then airlifted to Canberra Hospital shortly after.
Police arrested a 33-year-old woman at the scene and charged her with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A NSW Police spokesman said the woman arrested at the scene was known to the victim.
The woman was taken to Goulburn police station and was refused bail. She will appear in Goulburn Local Court on Monday.
