Hodgson has missed the past three NRL games after he broke his thumb against the North Queensland Cowboys, but he'll take on the Eels in Darwin on Saturday.
His return comes as the Green Machine look for their third consecutive victory, having already beaten the Eels once this season.
Parramatta are coming off a 38-10 win over the inconsistent Brisbane Broncos and have won the only ever game between the two sides in Darwin - back in 2014.
The Raiders are preparing for a representative round backlash, including from their old mate Junior Paulo.
Paulo was one of a number of Parramatta Eels who represented state or country over the weekend, as he ran roughshod over Papua New Guinea for Samoa.
The ex-Raider ran for 183 metres and barged over for a try in Samoa's 24-6 victory.
His next stop is against the Green Machine in Darwin on Saturday.
They might've spent three years playing together, but Raiders second-rower Elliott Whitehead said they'd still have a close look at Paulo.
"I watched him for a bit. He played well for Samoa, made some tough carries as well," Whitehead said.
"I think he scored a try as well. He'll be full of confidence.
"Junior's a good player and it's up to us as the middle to stop him performing.
"We'll be doing a bit of video of him this week and see what he's been doing in their team and hopefully we can shut him down."
The Eels also have NSW Blues winger Blake Ferguson returning from a successful State of Origin II, where he ran for 156 metres.
Parramatta fullback and captain Clint Gutherson was in Blues camp as 19th man, while their other winger Maika Sivo scored tries in Fiji's 58-14 rout of Lebanon.
Raiders fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad said they were an important part of the Eels' game plan and they'd look at how to reduce their impact.
He said they would look back at their round-five victory over Parramatta, who they kept scoreless, to see what they could use again.
"I'm definitely expecting a high-energy team," Nicoll-Klokstad said.
"They've got a few players who played rep round and they'll be bringing that energy and enthusiasm back to the squad.
"The back three start the sets off for their teams and it will be a challenge for us, but I know if we can focus on what we do and how we're going to defend their back three I know we'll do a good job."
