One person was taken to hospital after fire fighters rescued three people from a burning unit complex in Turner on Monday night.

The ACT Emergency Services Agency they were called to the fire at Condamine Court on Forbes Street, Turner, about 8.45pm.
"Firefighters have extinguished a fire on the ground floor of a multi-storey unit complex and rescued three people from within the building," it said in a statement.
Officials closed two northbound lanes of Northbourne Avenue during the incident. They were re-opened about 11pm.
"ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters [ensured] the building is safe and have completed atmospheric monitoring. ACT Ambulance Service paramedics assessed a number of people for smoke inhalation and one person was transported to hospital. Occupants are being allowed back into the building," it said.
