But it was the snow on the way there that caught their eye. Especially for Canberra Olympic's Noosa boys.
Olympic went back to the top of Capital Football's premier league with a 5-1 thrashing of the Riverina Rhinos in Griffith on Saturday.
It sets up a blockbuster final round where they'll face second-placed Cooma Tigers at O'Connor next week.
The Tigers could still reclaim top spot when they take on Gungahlin United at the AIS on Sunday, given they're two points behind Olympic.
A group of the Olympic players and coaches stayed in Griffith on Saturday night and they made it a sightseeing tour when they stopped to take photos of snow on the way.
Olympic's Noosa recruits, Sean Pateman and Andre Jancevski, were especially chuffed.
"You should've seen the snow on the way up," Olympic coach Frank Cachia said.
"Especially around Harden. We couldn't believe how much had settled. Everyone was stopping and taking photos."
They now have a massive top-of-the-table clash against the Tigers, who won the first encounter 4-1 back in June.
Stephen Domenici scored two goals, to take him top of the goal-scorers list, while Kofi Danning, Nikolas Popovich and Jay Kelly rounded out the visitor's goals.
In the other game, Belconnen United kept their slim finals hopes alive with a 4-1 win over the Monaro Panthers - ending the Panthers' chances in the process.
