The Uniting Church Kippax, on the corner of Hardwick and Luke streets, Holt, is hosting a community bonfire on Friday from 4pm to 8pm.

There will be music, damper, hot drinks, a jumping castle, activities for the kids, free balloon animals and the bonhomie of sharing a relaxed space with the community.
It's a free event but bring some money to buy a coffee and a sausage.
Social inclusion worker Aimee Kent said the event would continue even if it rained, with the activities moving inside and a couple of fires outside for hardy punters.
"It's a space for people to come and relax together," Aimee said.
