The Ainslie Tricolours were relentless en route to a fourth consecutive first grade premiership in a 13.8 (86) to 3.11 (29) triumph at Manuka Oval on Saturday.
"We've got a very young side and I hope these boys can stick together and form the nucleus of a premiership teams to come," Bennett said.
"We had some success in the early 2000's and a lot of those boys played junior footy together and now a lot of our boys played junior footy together so hopefully they can keep growing towards a premiership because that would be great."
The Magpies haven't won a first grade premiership in 10 years and the opportunity appears to be Bennett's last as he ponders retirement.
"Its highly likely but I haven't spoken to anyone about it and I won't worry too much about that it the moment," Bennett said.

It came after Marist College claimed a 7.10 (52) to 3.5 (23) Rising Stars grand final win over the Tuggeranong Hawks.
