The Angry Birds Movie 2 (PG): Birds Red, Chuck, and Bomb must abandon their feud with Leonard and the other pigs to join forces when a threat emerges from Eagle Island: Zeta, the leader, wants to occupy the other islands and is shooting ice balls over to force the inhabitants to flee. The voice cast of this animated sequel includes Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Leslie Jones, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader and Peter Dinklage.

Animals (MA): Australian-Iris production in which best friends Laura (Holliday Grainger),a struggling writer, and Tyler (Alia Shawkat), an American woman estranged from her family, share a flat in Dublin. They party hard with drinking, drugs and sex but things change when Laura falls in love with Jim (Fra Fe) a pianist. Adapted by Emma Jane Unsworth from her 2014 novel and directed by Australian Sophie Hyde.
Downton Abbey (PG): In this continuation of the TV series, set in 1927, King George V and Queen Mary are paying a visit to the house, leading to various complications and conflicts including turf wars. Stars Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville.
Freaks (MA): Science fiction film in which a paranoid father (Emile Hirsch) keeps himself and his young daughter Chloe (Lexy Kolker) are locked inside a house, warning her there is danger outside, but she is eventually lured outside by Mr Snowcone (Bruce Dern), the owner of an ice cream truck.
