ACT police have released images of two men alleged to have assaulted a young person in Gungahlin last month.

The assault took place in Crace in Duncan Dunbar Reserve, off Medhurst Crescent, about 2pm on October 12.

Police say a young person in the park at the time was assaulted by two men.
The first man has been described as between 18 and 22 years old, between 185 and 195 centimetres tall, with a solid build and a Pacific Islander appearance, with a prominent line in his right eyebrow.
He was seen wearing a faded blue or grey bucket hat at the time of the incident.

The second man has also been described as between 18 and 22 years old and is of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, police say.
The man has a slim build and was seen wearing a black Nike cap and a black tracksuit during the alleged assault.
Police say the men were seen driving a silver or white van, believed to be a Mitsubishi Express.
