The very special kaleidoscope Christmas tree is being launched with a party in Garema Place from 4pm to 9pm on Friday.
The Nordic-flavoured tree is made from polycarbonate material that with sparkle in the sunlight and shine under a light show at night. People can go under and in and out of the tree, experiencing a a different kind of Christmas spirit.
The tree is 16m tall. The tree was designed by Keith Courtney from Creative Production Services), while the polycarbonate panels were designed by Mat Colley from The Foundry.
There will also be a host of other activities including free Christmas cookie and bauble decorating in specially set-up log cabins.
You can also grab a free Rudolph Red or Grinchy Green slushie.
There will also be wandering carollers, live music and a chance to grab a selfie with Santa.
