But Rhys Healy says some of Canberra's finest cricketers will be anything but overawed as they set their sights on making amends in the Cricket NSW Regional Bash finals.
The Aces will hunt for their maiden Regional Bash crown at the SCG on Sunday.
Their first task is a semi-final date with the Central West Wranglers, with the winner to meet either the Coffs Coast Chargers or Lake Mac Attack in the final under lights.
"Playing on the SCG first and foremost is a great privilege for a lot of the boys," Healy said.
"We're used to playing at little grounds in Canberra and even at Manuka, but a place like the SCG with all its history is a really good experience.
"Reflecting on our campaign last year, we probably should have won and we let the games slip in the finals. It's a pretty good opportunity to right the wrongs of last year.

"We've got a pretty solid team, we've just been away together at the country championships. We've got a strong group that is used to playing together."
Healy admits he knows little about the Wranglers but expects there will be "a few country blokes around that can give us a red-hot crack".
But the Aces will likely fancy their chances of advancing to the decider that evening with the likes of Ethan Bartlett, Robbie Trickett and Brendan Duffy in the mix.
"We've got blokes batting at eight and nine who have hit first grade hundreds, and seven or eight blokes who can bowl," Healy said.
"We've got explosive hitters and guys who can rotate the strike and accumulate."
First the Aces players will round out their Cricket ACT Douglas Cup games across the capital on Saturday.
Healy's Ginninderra Tigers are hunting first innings points against North Canberra-Gungahlin at Keith Tournier Memorial Oval.
The Tigers skipper posted a record-breaking 217 not out on day one to steer Ginninderra to 8-334 (dec), with Norths 0-31 in reply.
