The inside centre has inked a fresh two-year deal with the club as he looks to build on his midfield combination with Tevita Kuridrani.
It comes as the Brumbies brace for a clash with the Melbourne Rebels at Canberra Stadium on Friday night.
"I'm really excited by the future the club is building and am looking forward to a successful season," Simone said.
"My family and I are really enjoying our time here in Canberra and the organisation has welcomed us with open arms since I arrived here last year."
Simone's signature will bolster the club's depth in the outside backs which Tom Wright says is a huge boost to their finals hopes.
"We've got a number of guys who have been around for a while now," Wright said.
"It keeps everyone on their toes and it just makes training enjoyable too, knowing you can never switch off."
