Keep your hand on it and win a car

And he's come up with a doozy of a charity fundraiser which could see someone, with a lot of stamina and a compassionate heart, walk away with a new luxury car.

The idea starts with this - raise some money for your favourite charity.

That's the easy part.

Then, the top 20 fundraisers are selected to compete in a Youtuber-style challenge in which you have to keep your hand on the prize - in this case a 2020 VW Polo car - for as long as possible.

That will take place at the Canberra Outlet Centre starting September 3.

Finally, the last person still with their hand on the car, wins it. Simples.

Tiny anticipates competitors will be there, hands on the vehicle, for two to three days trying to win the car.

"You'll get a 10-minute break every two hours but for the rest of the time, you'll need to keep your hand on the car," he said.

"It's okay to bring your phone and headphones or laptop with you and plenty of snacks. Use the time to study or catch up on your Netflix binging, but no matter what, you need to keep your hand on the car. There's no tagging out or switching players. The last person with their hand remaining on the car will win it. Have you got what it takes?"

Tiny is donating the car from Lennock Volkswagen.

Second prize is $5000, donated by Kellie Chalker-Hall from McIntyre Property.

The fundraising element of the competition started on August 1 and there is still time to register.

Participants are urged to think creatively and use their networks to fundraise right up until midnight on August 21.

All the money raised stays with the respective charities, regardless of who ultimately wins the car.
