Inspired by songwriters from the 1960s and 70s, Sugerman sings relatable tales of struggles and triumphs in romance and growing up. Meanwhile, Reverend Bones leans towards a darker shade of feeling, expelling his personal demons with songs inspired by his search for meaning. Friday, 8pm. Kambri Precinct. Tickets are $24.60 from Moshtix.

Be entranced by this celebration of dance as art and everyday practice, featuring Australian Dance Party, Debora di Centa, Canberra Dance Theatre, Dance Development Centre and Bom Funk Dance Studio. Sunday, from 10.30am to 2.30pm. Free event. Tickets to the exhibition are $15 from portrait.gov.au.
