The Cavalry will begin the upcoming season with a home series against reigning champions Melbourne Aces at Narrabundah Ballpark on November 18.
They'll spend their New Years with a series against the Aces in Melbourne - COVID-19 permitting - but will get to spend their Christmas in Canberra with home series either side of it against the Sydney Blue Sox and Perth Heat.
Last season was massively interrupted by the pandemic, with the Aces awarded the championship for winning the game that was originally slated as the semi-final.
Major said a combination of government exemptions, vaccinations and hotel quarantine would allow them to bolster their roster with imports.
He said they'd already begun making those plans for the upcoming season - something that was left until the last minute under the previous owners, which led to friction with the players.
"I'm pretty confident this season is going to go ahead," Major said.
"The government's pushing for 80 per cent COVID [vaccinations] by the beginning of November.
"You've got to be happy with that right before the season, have everybody [vaccinated]. So I'm not stressed, I think the season will go ahead quite well."
