Parsons was on fire at Seiffert Oval, with his leap for a Campese bomb helping the veteran five-eighth score under the uprights.
The sequence ended any chance of a comeback for the Bushrangers, who were threatening to do just that in a frantic finish to the second half.
"Matty is a star," Campese said of Parsons.
"Don't worry about my try, it was just good to get a win against a really good Tuggeranong team."
The 32-20 victory was especially sweet for Queanbeyan's captain-coach as the team blooded more young up-and-comers, highlighting their healthy depth.
"We had another two kids debut and last week we had five," Campese said.
"It's great for our juniors coming through. Something must be working there, which is promising for our future."
Trailing 16-10 at the half, the Bushrangers were on the back foot in the second term when Zac Saddler was sent to the sin-bin for a high hit on Romann Leota, allowing Queanbeyan to capitalise.
The Blues next face Gungahlin, while Tuggeranong will take on Woden Valley. But first Campese is yearning for an Easter break trip north.
"Next week we've got off and I can't wait," he said.
"I'll be at the Gold Coast trying to get some sun and relax."
